It’s the start of the weekend (it does begin on Friday, y’all) *and* March 1st, which feels just right. I’m truly ready for this next month. January was for recovering from September through December, and February was getting back to a semblance of normalcy with work and home life. March is for adventures, gratitude, special projects, and new experiences. I even set some goals for March.
As far as plans this weekend, I have back to back plans with friends today and am volunteering at Full Circle Farm Sanctuary and going to see live music with a friend tomorrow. David leaves out for a work trip to Vegas on Sunday morning and I’ve intentionally kept the day plan-free. I’ve really been appreciating those pockets of time where I don’t have anything scheduled and can choose to be spontaneous if something interesting comes up. I think we’re all pretty over-scheduled these days, so it feels good to create space for the unexpected.

(Admittedly, I didn’t do a ton of internet reading this week. Enjoy the sparse reccs and get yourself outside, even if it’s just for a walk around the neighborhood. It’s so important that we spend time away from our screens, so we can connect with ourselves and each other.)
